Todd, when you mention the following:

If you're interested in participating, send me PM with the pattern that you will be tying and I will reply with the additional details (see fly swap FAQ) and update the tier list.

Swap Theme: Favorite Springtime Stillwater Trout Patterns
Sign up: Dec 17th
Submissions: Jan 4th @ OFS Meeting

Does that mean for Dec 17th we identify ourselves as willing to participate, then for January 4th we submit the fly pattern (or at the meeting for Jan 4th we have to provide you with all the flies made for the swap)?

Reason for my asking is that I would be willing to participate, but will be receiving the necessary material (new stuff) as a Christmas present from the wife and kids, so it places me in a delayed position if Jan 4th is the deadline.

Pattern = MGD's 1.0" Tuber (something that I need to create), which will be simple, weighted but balanced in design.

Is the swap initiative still on.

I finished my flies (12 of them), just in case the number of participants increase (more then what is presently posted).

I believe this evening is the session where we provide Todd with our 14 flies, for him to sort out (back home ) individually these beauties for the participants' next gathering.

See you this evening.

Hope you guys like the damselfly nymphs. I know they aren't overly impressive, but the braided tail was nowhere near as easy as I was hoping! It ended up taking me about 20-25 minutes per fly. Of course, that may be because I have a short attention span.....

Quentin,

Not everyone from the swap attended the Tying night. So don't know how many packages Todd has in his possession for redistribution. Maybe he will wait a little longer for entries, but if everything is OK, then we can expect to receive the various flies from participants at the nex Fly-Tying evening.

Thanks for your contribution. I know I'll be happy to receive the flies you made to add to my arsenal.
